Scene: Sistah, don't you bother me!

And we won't. Because these three are fi-erce (hey! Where is Siriano?!) the 30-years-in-waiting trio introduced their second number first with a shout out to Obama (the crowd goes wild!) Then Labelle kicked it up a notch by slamming Prop 8. Sister don't you bother me! Here's hoping.

Scene: Labelle Reunited at Out 100!

It takes more than one superstar to bring together a room full of hundreds of gay men and women after, oh, three hours of revelry and drink. But three legends reunited certainly did the trick. Niña Hendryx, Sarah Dash, and Patti Labelle rocked the house together for the first time in THIRTY years. That shut the room up for a second. Until everyone just screamed their hearts out.

VIP Guest Blogger: David Hauslaib

[David Hauslaib was an Out 100 honoree our first year of attempting to liveblog the launch party, and this is the second year we've strong-armed him -- and plied him with drinks -- until he agreed to pen a post for us.]

It's David from Jossip and Queerty, and after Chelsea Handler opened the show, this whole night has essentially been about waiting for Cheyenne Jackson to flash his thighs. Out staffers have assured me it's on the way. Or, at the very least, that they'll Photoshop his red carpet photos into his Xanadu outfit, with me standing next to/on him. I'm still not convinced.

But you know what NOBODY is talking about? Proposition 8! Because it's so much easier to enjoy an evening of cocktails and formalwear when more people are concerned about how many girls Katy Perry kissed than whether they can marry the person they love. God bless America. But at least we're here, all together and gay, celebrating each other. I can get behind that.

Now on stage: Cheyenne Jackson

"And I didn't even have to kiss a girl," noted Xanadu hunk Cheyenne Jackson. Jackson humbly accepted his award by saying, "If I can make a difference just by being myself openly, then I totally accept that." He threw a shout out to Obama's victory -- "Change is possible!" -- To rousing applause.
